Henry Wineman, chairman of the board of governors of the Jewish Welfare Federation, has been chosen president of the Jewish Social Service Regional Conference which embraces Detroit. Kurt, Peiser, executive secretary of the Jewish Welfare Federation, was chosen secretary of the conference.
This conference, which will meet from time to time in cities in the region, is represented by the states of Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky and a number of cities in Pennsylvania and Illinois.
