Wizo Ends Conference, Demands Palestine Entry for German-jewish Youth

The Conference of the Women’s International Zionist Organization closed here today after adopting resolutions demanding the emigration of German Jewish youth to Palestine. The conference also demanded a greater middle class immigration, more certificates for girls and equal rights for all women.

A budget for the next two years totaling 47,000 pounds including the National Fund quota was adopted by the Zionist Women, for all work in Palestine.

During the debate on the resolutions and the new budget, all men guests, including world famous Zionist leaders, were asked to leave the room and were excluded from the sittings of the Zionist Women’s conference.

A new executive consisting of 12 representatives in London, 11 in Palestine and ten representatives from the various countries of Europe was elected. Mrs. Vera Weizmann was elected president of the organization for a term of two years.
