A plea to the British Government and the other Western Allies to open their doors to the immigration of Jewish refugees from Eastern Europe was made today by the World Jewish Congress executive committee.
In identical letters addressed to the Allied governments, A. L. Easterman, political director of the WJC, pointed out that it would be inadvisable to keep the refugees in West Germany in view of the revival of Nazism in Germany.
