Presidents of 300 women’s organizations of all faiths will meet this afternoon at the Barbizon Plaza Hotel to discuss the growth of intolerance in this country, and the rise of Nazi activities and to plan possible means of preventing their spread.
The meeting will take place under the auspices of the women’s division of the American Jewish Congress, of which Mrs. Stephen S. Wise is the president. The conference, known as “Inter-Denominational President’s Day,” is the second meeting of its kind arranged by the women’s division and will become an annual undertaking.
Arrangements for the meeting have been made by a committee of which Mrs. Beth Levin Siegel is the chairman.
