At a luncheon in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel tomorrow the Women’s League for Palestine will launch a drive for $40,000 to complete construction of a home in Tel Aviv for pioneer girls and girls who are refugees from Germany. Speakers will be Rabbi Stephen S. Wise and Mrs. Richard Gottheil.
The Tel Aviv home, according to Mrs. William Prince, president of the league, will be similar to the hostel the organization now maintains in Haifa, where girls are housed, taught trades and provided with social and cultural activities.
