Representatives of 160 Jewish women’s organizations from the five boroughs with a membership aggregating 100,000 were pledged today, following a rally and tea at the home of Mrs. Roger W. Straus, 6 East Ninety-third street, to support the women’s division of the United Jewish Appeal.
“Of all the Jews in Germany,” Mrs. Straus said, “the worst sufferers in this present tragedy are the women and children.”
