The launching of a three-year campaign to raise $500,000 for the construction of a dormitory for women at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America was announced here today at the 40th anniversary celebration of the National Woman’s League of the United Synagogue of America. The dormitory would be named after Mathilde Schechter. founder of the League.
