More than 300 reservations have been made thus far for the fourth annual luncheon to be given by the women’s division of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities on April 11 at the St. George Hotel, according to an announcement made by magistrate Jeanette G. Brill, chairman of the event. Proceeds will be applied toward the division’s quota in the Federation’s $500,000 twenty-fifth anniversary campaign, which will be launched this Wednesday night with a dinner at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway.
Reservations have been secured through the Junior Federation, the various cooperating societies and other organization, Magistrate Brill said. Cooperating bodies are the Women’s Auxiliary, Jewish Hospital of Brooklyn; First Hebrew Day Nursery and Neighborhood House; Women’s Auxiliary, Beth Moses Hospital, and the National Council of Jewish Women. Brooklyn Section. All are among the twenty-five constituent agencies to benefit through the Federation’s campaign.
Mrs. Martin Lippman is treasurer of the lucheon committee. The executive committee includes Mrs. Clarence G. Bachrach. president of the women’s division, chairman; Mrs. Mortimer Brenner; Mrs. Henry Broder; Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein; Mrs. Charles Jaffa; Mrs. Harry Schlein Mrs. Benjamin Spitzer and Mrs. Meier Steinbrink.
