The executive board of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods opened a two-day annual meeting at Temple Emanu-EI Community House today, discussing action on the peace program of the National Peace Conference and considering a petition initiated by the American Committee for Democracy and Intellectual Freedom calling on the House to discontinue the Dies Committee. Luncheon was served to the 60 delegates by refugees being retrained for domestic service. Speakers included President Mrs. Leon Waters and Dr. Jonah B. Wise.
