The Federation of Women Zionists adopted a resolution here today, calling on Jewish educators to adopt the Sephardic pronunciation as used in Israel in synagogue religious classes where Hebrew is taught. The Federation, which held its annual conference today, called on the organization’s membership to urge their local synagogues to adopt this measure.
The delegates also voted to increase the organization’s contribution to the current, budget of the Women’s International Zionist Organization by 25 percent, in view of WIZO’s critical financial position.
