Rebbe Schmuel Engel, the “Wonder Rabbi of Radomysle,” died today in Kaschau, Czechoslovakia, at the age of 80.
Rebbe Engel had been known for sixty years as the rabbi who could perform miracles. His residence was besieged to the very day of his death by thousands of followers coming from all parts of the world to ask his blessings.
