The work of modern Palestinian artists will go on exhibit at the Palestine Pavilion at the World’s Fair August 3, it was announced today. Three portrait busts by Jacob Epstein, of London, will be included in the exhibition in recognition of his service in the Jewish Legion, which helped the British army in its conquest of the Holy Land.
A plan to reconstruct the Palestine Pavilion on Mount Scopus after the close of the World’s Fair was revealed by Meyer Weisgal, Pavilion director, during an address at a reception last night to 34 Labor Zionist delegates who sail Saturday to attend the World Zionist Congress at Geneva.
