Decision to terminate the negotiations for amalgamation with the New York Workmen’s Circle was taken at the concluding session of the nineteenth annual convention of the Independent Workmen’s Circle here. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 44 to 34 after prolonged debate.

Through other resolutions adopted, the order decided to aid the campaign of the Palestine Workers’ Union and to indorse the campaign of the Hias. The order also voiced a protest against the proposed registration of aliens in the United States.
