The Workmen’s Circle, largest Jewish fraternal order in the United States, today decided to build a home in Israel for newcomers who have no families. The decision was taken at a conference of 300 delegates of the order convoked by the United Jewish Appeal. The house will be built in the vicinity of Tel Aviv and will be named “The Workmen’s Circle Home.”
