To provide technical and professional guidance to Jewish communities in South America seeking to improve and expend existing Jewish community centers or to develop such centers, the newly-organized World Federation of YMBAs and Jewish Community Centers has named Harold J. Blum as its first field representative in South America, it was announced here today.
Mr. Blum, who has already left for Buenes Airs, where he will make his headquarters, will serve the Jewish communities in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Bolivia. There are already some 40 Jewish Centers in these countries, come with modern facilities.
