Ratification of the articles of federation of the World Federation of YMHA’s and Jewish Community Centers by its four founder member organizations in the United States, Great Britain, Canada and Australia, and the election of the Federation’s first officers were announced at the group’s headquarters here today.
The objectives of the Federation include the interchange of ideas and experiences and opportunities for cooperation among the national organizations and the fostering of the Jewish center movement in all countries where it appears feasible and desirable. Frank L. Weil, president of the Jewish Welfare Board, was chosen president of the Federation.
