The World Fellowship of Faiths begins its fourteen New York City sessions on May 12 at the Hotel New Yorker. “A New Spiritual Dynamic Needed” is the subject. Speakers will include Dr. F. Homer Curtiss of Washington, D. C., Dr. Philip L. Seman of Chicago and Basil Alexander.
Saturday evening at 8 P. M. the subject will be “Spiritual Needs and Evils of Society.” Prof. William H. Kilpatrick and Prof. Jesse H. Holmes will be among the speakers. A unique “World Fellowship Procession of All Faiths, Races and Countries” will march on Sunday afternoon from the Pennsylvania Railroad Station to the Hotel New Yorker.
The fourteen New York City meetings supplement the sixty Chicago sessions held during the Chicago’s World’s Fair-“To Unite the Inspiration of All Faiths, Races and Countries Upon the Solution of Man’s Present Problems.” The seventy-two speakers announced for the New York City meetings include Sir Francis Younghusband, leaders from India, Persia and Japan, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Bishop Francis J. McConnell, John Haynes Holmes, Norman Hapgood and Harry Elmer Barnes.
