The work of the World Jewish Congress in various countries will be reviewed at a meeting of the world executive of the organization which opens here tomorrow. A meeting of the W.J.C. General Council is scheduled to open next Monday.
Harry Greenstein, advisor on Jewish affairs to the American Military Government in Germany, will participate in a special session of the executive devoted to the problems of Jews in Germany. Representatives of the Jewish communities in Germany and of committees representing displaced Jews there will also take part in this session, at which special attention will be paid to the growing anti-Semitism among the Germans.
The question of expanding cultural activities among Jews in various countries outside of Israel will be one of the major problems for discussion at the executive meeting. The meeting of the General Council will be attended by representatives of Jewish organizations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Algeria and Tunisia.
