Mme. Kalich, who was forced several years ago to retire from the stage because of an eye affliction, spent twenty-five years on the American stage. She appeared in many successful productions, including Sardou’s “Fedora,” Jacob Gordin’s “The Kreutzer Sonata,” Maeterlinck’s “Monna Vanna” and Emil Zola’s “Theresa Raquin.”
