The executive committee of the World ORT Union approved today a $4, 507, 000 budget for 1957. The action came on the final day of a three-day session.
The executive also named Dr. Max Braude of Pennsylvania director general of the ORT Union and endorsed a program of emergency vocational training to meet the needs of thousands of Egyptian exiles, Hungarian Jewish refugees and Jews in North Africa.
