The Manchester Evening News, commenting on Mr. Sacks’ book on “Jewish Problems,” which appeared in London, says:

Only in one country in the world today does Mr. Sacks find hope for the Jews, and that is in Soviet Russia. He finds fault with the Jewish settlement of Palestine because in founding a national home the Jews are duplicating the faults of every other State.

His strongest chapters are those in which he shows how and why anti-Semitism has increased and decreased in cycles directly related to the economic condition of the countries in which it has appeared.

BIRO-BIDJAN STIRS INTEREST IN BOSTON

The Jewish Advocate of Boston, under the headline “Interest in Biro-Bidjan,” comments editorially:

Today Biro-Bidjan has been accepted as the only other spot outside of Palestine which, because of the state help offered by the government, can help in the salvaging of a great number of Jewish victims of the Fascist economic system in Central and Eastern Europe. In the enlightenment of Jewish public opinion in the United States on Biro-Bidjan, the Icor Organization has played a signal role. It deserves congratulations.

EXCERPTS FROM REICH HEATHEN CODE

The London Daily Telegraph brings the details from a new “Catechism of Heathenism” just published in Germany, which preaches the following:

As we have driven the Jews out of politics, economic life and law, we can no longer take our religion from them. We cannot recognize any international religion of humanity, because nations and races are different. We do not believe in the Holy Ghost; we believe in the holiness of blood ties.

In the Evangelical Church Jews and semi-Jews are no longer allowed. Consequently, nowadays, neither Paul nor Christ himself would be allowed to be pastors, or even beadles in their own church.

For Germans work is a holy thing. It is anti-Semitic, through and through, and in the Christian Heaven it does not exist.

A sacred and divine power reposes in womenkind. Modern German youth sees its culture not in the Bible, but in its knowledge of heredity, and race, and in its belief in Germany.
