Writing on the Jewish pogroms committed in Russia under Gen. Denikin, the Forward, daily newspaper in Glasgow, states:
“Three million Jews of the Ukraine were handed over helpless and hopeless to murder and dishonor. In the pogrom of Fastov 1,000 Jews were slaughtered and a great number of women and girls were violated. There were no less than 150 pogroms carried out by the Denikin army.”
The bloody massacres of the hapless Jews in the Ukraine by our government’s protege became indeed so terrible that, as Mr. Churchill shows in his book, “The World Crisis,” special telegrams had to be sent to Denikin begging him “to restrain anti-Semitic feeling.”
