More than 150 rabbis throughout the United States will deliver commemorative sermons next month on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the death of Hayim Greenberg, leading labor Zionist writer and philosopher who died in New York, it was announced here today by the Labor Zionist Organization of America.
Community-wide observances marking the anniversary will be held in key cities in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Israel and Europe. Among the Israeli events marking the anniversary of Greenberg’s death will be a memorial meeting at the home of Foreign Minister Golda Meir next Sunday in Jerusalem.
