In an attempt to asercain the attitude of Jews torward Reform synagogue of Jews toward Reform synagogue service, the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, under the chairmanship of Joshua Kantrowitz, yesterday circulated a questionnaire containing many questinons including: “Do you approve of the laity occasionally conducting complete service?” “Do you find comfort in the prayers of the service?”
The National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods is cooperating with the committee on religion headed by Mrs. David Lefkowitz of Dallas, Texs. Samuel B. Finkel of Boston is president of the Temple Brotherhoods Federation. Mrs. Maurice Steinfeld is president of the Sisterhoods Federation.
