An exhibition of documents and other material depicting the Hitler holocaust, arranged by the Yad Vashem of Jerusalem, will open soon in New York, it was announced here today.
The exhibit will be housed in the Jewish Museum here, before it is sent on a tour of major American Jewish communities. The presentation is modeled after the permanent display in the Yad Vashem Museum on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem.
Yad Vashem is the central institution authorized by Israel’s Parliament to foster eternal remembrance of the 6,000,000 European Jewish men, women and children slaughtered by the Nazis during World War II.
