The establishment of a $20,000 endown the Yale Library by the late Mrs. Rebekah Kohut, who died two years ago, announced here today by Yale University.
The endowment, left in the form of a trust fund, now amounts to appro###### $25,000 and will be used to increase the scope of Yale’s collection of Judature, one of the largest in this country. Mrs. Kohut, a patron of the Kohution of Judaica at Yale, founded by her stepson Dr. George A. Kohut, has memorialized in a volume containing a facsimile of a 400-year-old manus###### is a translation of the Scroll of Antiochus, a work published some 1,200 year and describing the Maccabean revolt.
