Modelled after the style of architecture of the time of King Solomon, the architect’s plans for the Rabbi Elchanon Theological Seminary, an institution of higher Jewish learning, combined with a Jewish college giving the usual academic degrees and courses of other American colleges have been approved by the Building Fund Committee.

Five buildings will be erected to provide for the initial needs of the institution; a Seminary, college, senior high school, library and students’ dormitory.

The central building, the Yeshiva Seminary and Teacher’s College, is designed in part after a section of King Solomon’s Temple and will be an impressive monument of Jewish art as it flourished during Biblical times. It will accomodate two thousand students.
