The annual meeting of the Yeshiva College and the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary was held on Sunday at the Ytshiva College building at 186th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, New York. Acting-President Harry Fischel presided.
A resolution was adopted authorizing an increase in the number of the board of directors to forty-eight. A number of directors whose terms expired were re-elected and new ones chosen. The institution, which had an annual need of $250,000 while in its old quarters on East Broadway will need with the addition of the College and the transference to the new buildings, a budget of $100,000, Mr. Fischel stated. The Yeshiva now has a deficit of $75,000, due to the falling off of subscriptions on account of the building campaign.
