Yeshiva University today awarded 441 degrees and diplomas, and conferred six honorary doctorates, at the institution’s 30th annual commencement exercises here. The commencement address was delivered by Dr. Barnaby C. Kenney, president of Brown University.
Dr. Maurice B.Hexter, executive vice-president of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York, was among the recipients of honorary degrees at the commencement exercises. The honorary degree of doctor of divinity was conferred on Rabbi Emanuel Rackman.
