“The Jewish Farm”, an illustrated journal for agriculture, cattle breeding and other activities connected with work on the land, started publication here today under the editorship of Mr. J. M. Wohl. Several prominent agricultural experts, Jews and non-Jews, will be among the regular contributors to the journal.
The first issue contains articles on cattle breeding, tree nurseries, beekeeping, poultry farming and dairy farming. There are also reports from the various Jewish agricultural colonies in the Argentine and a report of the recent Argentine Agricultural Exhibition in which the Jewish colonies of the Ica participated.
JTA has documented Jewish history in real-time for over a century. Keep our journalism strong by joining us in supporting independent, award-winning reporting.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
