Indications today were that representatives of many non-Jewish youth organizations of the city will attend the conference of the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights against Nazism to be held here October 21 under the auspices of the committee’s youth division.
It was announced yesterday that more than 800 youth groups, more than 450 of them being Christian, have been invited to attend the meeting. Among the delegates already named are many representing Christian church groups, university organizations, various types of young peoples’ organizations and colored youth groups.
Speakers will include the Rev. Raymond Bragg, Unitarian minister, who will talk on “Hitler—the Second Stage,” and Max M. Korshak, chairman of the administrative body of the Chicago committee. Other speakers listed are Joseph M. Krause, vice chairman of the committee, and Rabbi Israel H. Weisfeld, chairman of the youth division.
