A number of young farmers from Israel will be brought to the United States during the next two years in a work-training program sponsored jointly by the American Farm Bureau Federation and the Foreign Operations Administration, the F.O.A. announced today.
The Israelis will actually work and live with American farm families. This was envisaged as a means of spreading an understanding of American ideals and community life. Trainees will be selected by farm organizations in Israel, with those sponsored by members of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers to be given preference.
