A family separated for 18 years was reunited here today in a moving scene, as the youngest person to reach here from the Soviet Union–Constant in Silverman, 35–and his mother Rosa, met with Mr. Silverman and another son. Mrs. Silverman, 66, and her son, came here from the Uzbekistan township of Fergana.
The family was separated when the war broke out. Mrs. Silverman and Constant in were visiting Riga, while Mr. Silverman was in England. Two other sons were already in Palestine at that time. One of the sons is a member of a kibbutz, and the other–Leo Savir–is now press attache at the Israel Embassy in London.
