A call for a united Palestine Front to mobilize American Jewry for the purpose of meeting the increased opportunities in Palestine for the settlement of Jewish refugees
from Germany and other lands, was issued by the Administrative Committee of the Zionist Organization of America at its meeting Sunday afternoon at the Hotel Astor, according to a statement from the Z.O.A. today.
In order to bring about the union of all Zionist forces in the United States, the meeting adopted a resolution submitted by Louis Lipsky in the name of the Executive of the organization, directing the latter to summon an extraordinary conference of all Zionist parties and groups in the United States as well as other friends of Palestine to decide upon the form of the new agency to be created. The resolution also provides that the united front agency shall assume direction of all Palestine fund-raising bodies, and coordinate them in a United Palestine Appeal, which would be launched by the extraordinary conference.
The meeting, attended by members from many cities gave unanimous support of the proposal for launching a vigorous effort to win greater support from American Jewry for Palestine upbuilding, the statement said.
