A new ZOA House will be opened in Jerusalem as soon as arrangements are made with the Jewish National Fund for a suitable location and when the 250, 000 pounds needed for the project can be raised, it was announced here yesterday at a luncheon in honor of Rabbi Irving Miller, president of the Zionist Organization of America, and Dr. Emanuel Neumann, member of the Jewish Agency executive. This will be the second ZOA center in Israel, a ZOA House having been opened in Tel Aviv earlier this year.
It was announced that Dr. Neumann, a past president of the ZOA, would be president of the Jerusalem ZOA House project. Local General Zionist leaders have undertaken to raise 100, 000 pounds in Israel to help complete the project. Dr. Miller told the luncheon guests that he would press for inclusion of the ZOA House funds in the ZOA budget at the forthcoming convention of the American group.
