A slate of 121 delegates, deputy-delegates and alternates representing the Zionist Organization of American at the forthcoming 23rd World Zionist Congress was unanimously approved by the National Administrative Council of the organization at a special meeting held last night at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, the Z.O.A. announced today. The Z.O.A. delegation will constitute the largest single unit attending the Congress from this country.
The forthcoming World Zionist Congress, the first to be held since the establishment of the state of Israel, is scheduled to convene in Jerusalem beginning July 11.
Sidney Marks, executive director of the Z.O.A., reported that local committees for the sale of Israeli bonds when the issue is floated in May have been formed in hundreds of committee under the auspices of Z.O.A. districts. The Z.O.A. has adopted a national sales quota of $100,000,000 worth of bonds over a period of three years.
