The Zionist Organization of America will raise a fund of $100,000 to assist American and Canadian Jews settling in Israel to obtain housing, Abraham Redelheim, president of the ZOA, announced here today.
Mr. Redelheim also revealed plans for extension of Hebrew language teaching in the United States by broadcasting lessons over local radio stations. The famed “Ulpan” system of teaching would be used, he said, and prospective students would be given 30 half-hour radio courses.
