Benjamin G. Browdy, president of the Zionist Organization of America, conferred with President Truman yesterday for 20 minutes.
After the meeting, Mr. Browdy said that the President and he had discussed problems concerning peace in the Middle East and in the world and financial aid to Israel. The President had expressed himself as hopeful that peace would be established in the Middle East, the Z.O.A. president revealed, indicating that the President had also manifested interest in aid for Israel.
In response to an invitation from Mr. Browdy to attend the forthcoming 54th annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America — to be held June 14-17 in Atlantic City — the President had said that he would like to attend if circumstances permit.
