A two-day convocation, to be attended by about 2, 000 prominent invited guests, will be held by the Zionist Organization of America in Israel, marking the 60th anniversary of the ZOA and the 10th anniversary of Israel’s independence, it was announced here today by Abraham Goodman, chairman of the ZOA national executive.
The convocation, which will open on April 29 in the ZOA Daniel Frisch House in Tel Aviv, will be part of an elaborate program in observance of the ZOA Week in Israel. ZOA members visiting Israel at that time will be eligible to attend the convocation as delegates, and participate in discussions on ZOA projects in Israel. Dr. Abba Hillel Silver will speak on the role of American Zionism in the establishment of Israel.
