A campaign against “the many unauthorized and uncoordinated efforts” which are now being launched in the United States on behalf of Israel was launched today by the Zionist Organization of America.
A resolution made public by the Z.O.A. requests that the United Palestine Appeal, the American Zionist Emergency Council and the American section of the Jewish Agency, as duly constituted Zionist bodies, assert their proper authority “to ensure an ordered and effective organization of all such activates on the American scene.”
At the same time the Zionist Organization of America announced today that within the next two weeks, three ships carrying gifts procured through the Food for Israel drive will leave from the harbors of New Orleans, Philadelphia and New York.
