Zeitz Succeeds May As Unity Club Head

Harry Zeitz, vice-president of Martin’s has been elected president of the Unity Club, Brooklyn, to succeed Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, it was announced yesterday.

The Unity Club, at Grant Square, is a social and cultural center for Brooklyn Jews.

Other activities of Zeitz include work in the Brooklyn branch of the Federation of Jewish Charities as executive committee chairman and affiliation as president with the Downtown Business Men’s Club of Brooklyn.

INSTITUTE ALUMNI ELECT

Rabbi Jacob P. Rudin, ’28, Temple Beth El, Great Neck, L. I., was elected president of the Alumni Association of the Jewish Institute of Religion at the annual elections. Other officers elected follow:

Rabbi Victor Eppstein, ’29, Scranton, Pa.; Rabbi Saul Habas, ’31, Natchez, Miss: Rabbi Morton M. Berman, ’26, New York, and Rabbi Michael Alper, ’30, New York.
