A meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee, policy-making body of the Zionist movement between world congresses, will be held in Jerusalem in the latter half of November, it was decided here today at a joint session of the Jewish Agency and the presidium of the Actions Committee. It was also decided to call a joint meeting of the Agency and the committee presidium, with representatives of the Israel Government and of the American Zionist movement participating.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett reported to the Agency meeting on his recent trip to Latin America, Summing up his experiences in four South American Jewish communities, he said that the major projects facing them are: preservation of a Jewish life; creation of an atmosphere favorable to immigration to Israel; fostering pioneering; and increasing contributions to the national funds.
