A major political offensive must be launched immediately to bring the “Zionist solution” to the forefront before the and of the war, Moshc Shertok, chief of the political department of the Jewish Agency in Palestine, declared last night addressing the national conference of the Poale Zionist organization here.
In a two-hour address reviewing the political situation in Palestine, Mr. Shertok touched on the country’s contribution to the Allied war effort and the problem of rescuing as many Jews as possible from Europe and settling them in Palestine. He expressed the hope that American influence may result in the modification of the White Paper, which rest icts Jewish immigration to Palestine.
