The Jewish Agency announced today that the 21st biennial World Zionist Congress will open her on August 16 and continue for 10 to 15 days. The congress is expected to be the most critical since the initial session held at Basel in 1897, since it will be called upon to formulate the movement’s reaction to the new British policy on Palestine. Following the congress, the Council of the Jewish Agency will hold a session lasting from two to three days.
