A deportation the situation in the Middle East in relation to Palestine was given here yesterday at the first meeting of the National Administrative Council of the Zionist Organization of America held under the chairmanship of Dr. James G. Hellen of Cincinnati.
Judge Louis E. Levinthal of Philadelphia, newly elected president of the ZOA, opened discussions at the session with a survey of the recent developments abroad and a review of the plans of his administration for strengthening the Zionist movement in this country. More than 150 leading Zionists from all parts of the country participated in the discussions.
The session decided to issue a proclamation calling upon all Jews in the United States to observe the 24th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration on November 2.
