A meeting of the Zionist General Council scheduled for April 25 has been postponed indefinitely pending publication of the new British policy on Palestine, it was learned today. American members of the Council, which is the supreme Zionist body between biennial meetings of the World Zionist Congress, raised objections to holding the meeting before publication of the policy, it was understood.
