Information in the possession of the American Zionist Emergency Council furnishes proof that British authorities in Palestine are giving “material and tactical aid to lawless bands of Mufti-led Arabs,” it was charged today in a statement issued by the Council. The statement scored the Palestine Administration for its failure to halt Arab violence at the same time that it attacked the Haganah for taking counter-measures.
The Council today cabled a message to the Jewish National Council pledging to ##exert all possible efforts “to help you in your defense of the United Nations verdict against Mufti-led terrorists and British intrigues and sabotage. Be assured,” the cable continued “of our solidarity with you at this difficult time, which we all hope will be followed of our hopes.”
