David Ben-Gurion, chairman of the executive of the Jewish Agency, who arrived here from London last week, today sailed on the steamer Excambion for the United States to remain there for several months.
“The main thing for the present is to get a Jewish army, and the intend to get it,” Mr. Ben-Gurion said to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent prior to his sailing. He also disclosed that the Jewish Agency is now in contact with the Red Cross in an effort to arrange the dispatch of parcels to 2,000 Palestine Jewish war prisoners in German camps.
