Prominent Zionist leaders and Hebrew and Yiddish writers were among those who participated today in the funeral of Menachem Ribalow, editor of the Hebrew weekly “Hadoar,” who died last Thursday at Lebanon Hospital after s short illness.
Eulogies were delivered by Louis Lipsky, Dr. Israel Goldstein, Prof. S.K. Mirski, Sh. Niger, Dr. I. Efros and others. The speakers emphasized the loss suffered by the Hebrew-language movement in the United States with the death of Mr. Ribalow, who was one of the pillars of the movement for the last 30 years. The funeral services took place in the Bnai Jeshurun synagogue.
