The annual pilgrimage of Zionist youth to the grave of Dr. Theodore Herzl, founder of the World Zionist Organization and father of political Zionism, was made Sunday.
On this, the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Zionist leader’s death, a large number marched to the grave in the Jewish cemetery here. Students comprised the majority of the marchers among whom there were representatives of all shades of affiliation, including laborites. In the procession there were seen alongside the Zionist blue and white flag some red flags which aroused protests.
After the visit to the grave, some of the participants went to a nearby field where an outing was held.
In the evening Zionist mass meetings were held. At one of these meetings Felix Salten, president of the Austrian P. E. N. Club, now in session here, delivered an address recalling Herzl’s early fight for the Zionist idea.
